This body of worked titled, "Homeslice", looks at the intersection of the concept of home, domesticity and American culture through a character named "Homeslice" and was created through 2012 – 2013. Each illustration measures at 6.67" x 5". Three pieces were exhibited in "Mad World", a peer-Reviewed, national juried group exhibition on March 8th, 2013 to April 11th, 2013 at Union Street Gallery in Chicago Heights IL. Out of 110 artists who entered, totaling 271 works of art submitted, only 32 artists were accepted for a total of 58 works of art that will be on exhibit.

This work was also exhibited in New York City, NY at "Art Exchange" , College Arts Association 101st National Conference,a peer-reviewed, invitational exhibition on February 15, 2013 as well as in "Postcards" a peer-reviewed, national juried group exhibition December 12, 2012 to January 1, 2013 at SpaceWomb Gallery in Long Island, NY.

The project consists of sound art as well as an iBook and prints.

The work was created by drawing with pen and ink and capturing that image on an iPad, and then using several drawing and painting applications to alter the image. Playful typography gives the work a chaotic feel and the drawing tools and live paint help create a sense of hand–made work.
